The three series of Corte Certo 2D (Mini, Standard and Plus) basically offer solutions for splitting up one or more plates into pieces, in order to take better advantage of materials as quickly as possible. Such solutions are presented in reports and diagrams than can either be viewed on the screen or printed out. The programs Standard and Plus can also generate labels and include a warehouse control feature. For information on other functions see Features.

Over its 14-year history of continuous development, the Corte Certo cut plan optimizer line has sought to meet the standards required by a range of varied materials (see Applications), as well as to provide solutions to users in over 20 countries.

This way, Corte Certo has won over clients who range from large manufacturers and multinational distributors to small beginning companies and retailers specializing in a variety of activities.

Besides its more advanced viewer, Corte Certo’s Plus series includes a program called PanelFit (see comparative chart in the Features section). It also includes a system especially designed for the optimization of one dimensional materials such as border tape, fences, baseboards, wires, etc - Corte Certo 1D, Linear.

Through use of sophisticated algorithms that combine heuristic search techniques with linear programming developed alongside partners and clients around the world, Corte Certo has obtained excellent results in cut efficiency for projects of any size, from those with few pieces to be cut to those with thousands.

With its easy to use interface, the program was developed in Borland Delphi for the Windows 95, 98, Me, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP operating systems, and requires a Pentium 133 computer with 32 MB of RAM or better.
